The Artec™ 3D Scanners are 3D video cameras that capture video, each single frame of which is a three-dimensional image. The scanning process becomes extremely straightforward; simply walk around the object to be scanned continuously capturing it with the camera from various angles, while the accompanying software automatically combines all the scanned frames into a single mesh.
Thanks to an outstanding measuring speed, the Artec™ 3D Scanners perform measurement acquisition a dozen times faster than laser scanners, while providing high resolution and high accuracy.
Artec™ 3D Scanners are a great tool for multimedia applications for movie productions and video games, when its vital to capture a human body shape live, since they can be used to scan moving objects as well as stationary ones. The ability to capture colour and the non-contact nature of the scanner provides numerous opportunities for animations, movie-making and computer graphics among other applications.

Artec™ MH and MHT 3D Scanners
The Artec MHT is the newest model in Artec’s product line. It is similar to the Artec MH in most specifications, but the main difference is the ability of the MHT model to capture texture and colour. This model is the appropriate choice for those that need to not only acquire 3D data, but the color of the object as well. Moreover, it can work in video mode and capture 3D color data in motion.
Artec™ 3D Scanner: TDSL, TDSM, TDSS
These scanners come in a metal casing with a more industrial look and vary in size, field and depth of view. The scanners are light-weight so can be walked around the object to be scanned, but these scanners can also be mounted on a tripod for more accuracy.
